häwa cable channels connect the control cabinet to the machine for the power supply or connection to the control components. The cable channels also protect against mechani- cal damage, dirt and depending on the type, humidity. They are also used, among other things, to connect machines to each other or within a system.
Why is it important to have an organized and safe cable routing?
Cable ducts protect cables from external influences. This is important to ensure the operational reliability and longevity of electronic components such as power, control, pneumatic and hydraulic lines. häwa offers a variety of cable duct types, each customized to a different application. häwa cable ducts ensure safe and orderly cable routing.
Product properties of the cable ducts for control cabinets and enclosures
Cable ducts from häwa offer many advantages and product features that speak for themselves:
- Material quality: häwa cable channels are made of stainless steel or sheet steel, which makes them particularly robust and durable.
- Safety aspect: the protection classes of häwa steel cable channels range from IP2X to IP54 and IP65.
- Application possibilities: häwa offers a variety of cable routing and laying options. Cable channels can be laid horizontally or vertically. häwa cable guides can be flexibly laid with connecting pieces and branches, allowing the laying direction to be changed. Customized special designs are also possible.
Cable ducts by häwa: flexible and adaptable
Cable ducts from häwa can be variably used with up to seven cross sections. In addition, you will find the following cable channel types at häwa:
Cable duct type 1201
This cable duct has an especially high protection rating of IP65 and is very stable due to a closed molded piece and bolted flange connections. It also has UL Type 12 approval – and Type 3R on request.
Cable duct Type 1206
This cable duct system can be laid openly throughout, yet still offers IP54 protection. The open system not only makes for quick installation, but also allows any changes or retrofits to be carried out easily. With accessories such as dividers, cable, air and/or hydraulic lines can be laid together. Type 1206 is available in different modifications on request. This cable duct is available in seven sizes:
- 75 x 75 mm
- 100 x 100 mm
- 150 x 100 mm
- 200 x 100 mm
- 200 x 200 mm
- 300 x 150 mm
- 300 x 300 mm
Cable duct Type 1204/1207
The distinguishing feature of cable duct types 1204/1207 is that the electrical installation can be laid throughout. The assembly is done by screwed connecting parts. Special lengths are easily implemented by shortening the cable trunking. The cable trunking type 1207 is made of stainless steel and is therefore suitable for use in the food and beverage industry as well as in the chemical, paper and textile industries.
