To ensure that the components installed in the control cabinet function smoothly, the temperature inside the cabinet must be ideal. How high or low these temperatures are depends on the outside temperatures and the technology installed. To ensure the perfect temperature at all times, free-standing and bayable control cabinets and enclosures are equipped with climate control. Control cabinet fans are part of this climate control system. They dissipate the waste heat from the electrical and electronic components to the outside.
What are filter fans for control cabinets?
A fan is necessary in the control cabinet to remove the heat generated by the use of electrical and electronic components from the cabinet. In addition, the filter fans simultaneously filter a variety of dust types out of the air. This is to prevent the components from overheating, which could lead to malfunctions or a reduction in performance. Thus, a filter fan also ensures an increased service life of the components. The filter fans can be used as control cabinet fans in the control cabinet or as server cabinet ventilation as well as in the enclosure.

Their use is particularly important for larger systems with control cabinets in a row to prevent overheating of the internal components. Häwa offers a selection of control cabinet ventilation systems for a variety of applications. Choose from IP type ratings from IP20 to IP56, 24 V DC and 115 volts / 230 volts 400 / 460 volts and an air flow between 35 and 870 m3/h.

- Filter fan IP55 jet water resistant: A control cabinet fan that protects against the ingress of water jets thanks to its IP55 protection class.
- Top-mounted fan: Top-mounted fan for control cabinets for simple heat dissipation upwards.

- Water-jet hood AC Kit & FC Kit: To cover ventilation openings to protect against water. This means that häwa fans can also be used outdoors.
