Thermostats for control cabinets by häwa
Thermostats and temperature controllers are part of the climate control system inside a control cabinet or enclosure. A control cabinet thermostat can be used to protect the electronic components inside the cabinets from excessive heat, cold or humidity, for example from condensation. It helps to control the temperature and keep it constant. häwa offers a selection of different thermostats for control cabinet temperature monitoring.
What is a thermostat for the control cabinet?
Thermostats are used to maintain a constant temperature inside control cabinets and enclosures to protect and control the temperature of all components. These act as a signal contact or signal generator for the internal temperature in the control cabinet or enclosure and regulate it according to the desired temperature setting. häwa control cabinet thermostats are easy to operate and function reliably.
Temperature controllers in the häwa product range
Depending on the application, häwa offers a variety of control cabinet thermostats:
Capillary thermostat
Our thermostats with capillary tube sensors can be used to control switch cabinet heaters, filter fans, slide-in fans, heat exchangers, etc. The temperature is controlled by targeted measurement at the object, allowing the bulb of the temperature controller to be placed exactly where the temperature is to be measured. The capillary thermostat can be easily mounted by snapping it onto a 35 mm support rail (according to DIN EN 50022).
Fix-Thermostat FTS
The Fix-Thermostat FTS from häwa is available for different temperature ranges:
- switch-off temperature +25 °C; starting temperature +35 °C
- switch-off temperature +40 °C; starting temperature +50 °C
- switch-off temperature +50 °C; starting temperature +60 °C
This temperature controller can be easily mounted due to its clip-on mounting and small dimensions of 93 x 47 x 33 mm. It has a high switching accuracy – the contact closes when the temperature rises.
Fix-Thermostat FTO
These control cabinet temperature controllers are available for temperature ranges from +15 °C to + 5 °C and from + 25 °C to + 15 °C, respectively. They are normally closed contacts (NC) for use in control systems for heating devices. They can also be used to switch signal transmitters when the temperature falls below a certain level.
Small thermostat latching
The häwa latching small thermostat is available as either a normally closed contact (e.g. for heaters) or a normally open contact (e.g. for air conditioners). It features an impressive temperature setting range with an antifreeze setting and low hysteresis, as well as an optimized design with an enclosure for improved air flow. The temperature is set using a latching dial.
Temperature controller
Our temperature controllers with changeover contacts for heating and cooling offer an operating temperature of 0 °C up to +60 °C. A thermal recirculation is built in as standard.
