What are wall-mount enclosures?
Wall-mount enclosures are special empty enclosures for wall mounting in normal industrial environments. They are therefore typically mounted directly on walls, e.g. as wall-mounted enclosures, but sometimes also as machine components, controllers or wiring. Ultimately, they are a type of wall-mounted control cabinet in which electronic or technical devices can be safely stored.

How are the enclosures attached to the wall?
häwa wall-mount enclosures can be easily mounted to the wall using four holes and suitable wall attachment brackets. Once the enclosure is mounted, a mounting plate can be attached to the rear wall. häwa offers different versions of wall attachment brackets for various distances to the wall.
Empty wall-mounted distributor enclosures with IP protection class of IP55 or IP66
häwa electronic and electrical wall-mount enclosures consist of a body with one or two doors. Models with protection class IP55 are dust-tight and provide protection against water jets at any angle. The first five of the numbers indicates protection against dust in harmful quantities. The second number indicates the protection the enclosure provides against water.
Häwa wall-mount enclosures with IP66 protection have a double-embossed frame that prevents dirt and water from entering the enclosure when the door is opened. When closed, control cabinet wall-mount enclosures with IP66 protection provide protection against strong water jets and are dustproof.

EMC enclosures
Our EMC enclosures have a type rating that is designed according to IP54. Accordingly, they are made of stainless steel or sheet steel and are fitted with a special EMC/IP seal. They also offer a certain degree of protection against electromagnetic currents and prevent unwanted radiation into the environment. The hinges of the EMC enclosure can be opened 180° and are attached to the enclosure in a concealed manner. Doors with a height of 400 mm or more are designed with reinforcing/perforated profiles with mounting holes (d = 4.2 mm in 25 mm increments) on both sides.
Wall enclosure – landscape format
The häwa wall-mount enclosure in landscape format is available with one or two doors. This electrical wall-mount enclosure is designed according to type rating IP55, has a stable frame (26.5 mm in width), concealed 180° hinges and allows for the door hinge to be reversed without drilling.
Series 33
The 33 series is particularly impressive due to its large depth. Enclosures in the 33 series are equipped with a concealed 180° hinge and a sturdy frame. It is possible to change the door hinge without drilling. The version of the 33 series also meets the requirements for protection class IP55 and IP66 and is approved with UL types 12, 4 and 4X.
K-enclosure
K-enclosures from häwa are equipped with a 120° hinge and a narrow frame of only 9 mm. The K-enclosure is approved with the type rating IP55 as well as with UL types 1, 2, 5 and 12. This series is ideal for smaller circuits.
